General information, not professional advice

Get Sorted gives general preparedness information based on official sources, which we name on each page. It is not professional, medical or emergency advice and does not replace official warnings or instructions from emergency services. In an emergency, call 999 or 112 (or your country's emergency number).

Figures and estimates

Scores, quantities and timers are estimates based on the answers you give and on official figures. Official advice changes; we review our sources at least every 3 months and show the date we last checked. Always follow the instructions of your government, emergency services, doctor or pharmacist where they differ.

Links and affiliate links

We link to official sites, supermarkets and Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We are not responsible for products, prices or delivery from other sites; your contract for any purchase is with that seller.

Our liability

We take care to keep the information accurate, but we cannot promise it is complete or up to date for your situation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Otherwise, as the service is free, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
