Privacy

Short version: your answers stay on your phone. We count scores anonymously. We only hold your email if you give it to us.

Last updated 28 October 2026. Who we are: Get Sorted, an independent website run from Fife, Scotland (hello@getsorted.io).

Your answers

The answers you give in the check, your household plan, your contacts card and Power cut mode are saved only in your browser on your device (local storage). We never receive them. To delete them, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Anonymous counts

To see how the site is used, and to publish figures such as the average score, we record anonymous events: the type of event (for example "score shown" or "Amazon link opened"), the score, the country you chose, the date, and the name of the website that sent you (for example "reddit.com", never the full web address). We do not record your name, email, device or IP address.

These counts are stored with our database provider, Supabase, which processes them on our behalf. Like any web service, Supabase sees the connection's IP address when your browser sends a count; we do not store it.

Email reminders (only if you sign up)

If you ask for a reminder, we store your email address, whether you also want kit and gift news, the country you chose and the date. We use it to send the reminder and, only if you ticked the box, occasional news. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email or emailing us, and we will delete your details. We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. It is stored with Supabase and will be sent through an email service we will name here before the first email goes out.

Cookies and tracking

We set no cookies and use no advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts are served from our own site. If you follow a link to Amazon or a supermarket, their own privacy policies and cookies apply on their sites; Amazon uses a cookie on its site to credit us for a sale.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Contact: hello@getsorted.io.
